Suffering as a part of our end times
The Biblical interpretation represented here aligns itself with my own. I trust you enjoy learning about Daniel and the 70 Weeks. We are in the 69th week and it will draw to a close soon. What will you do with Ye'shua = Jesus Messiah?

Thesis, Doctrine and Commentary
The Great Commission will be fulfilled
through great suffering. He does it well with only 70 of the passages dealing with suffering in the life of a Christian. If Messiah had to suffer, die, be buried for three days, and then raise Himself from the grave so we could have eternal life, how much more so must we suffer in this life while on earth. Suffering is the norm of the Scriptures NOT the exception. This doesn't mean "Woe is me!" It is a reality that life is harsh. Some harshness stems from the hardness of men's hearts that could have made life for all much better, some from sins affecting us whether they are our own or others affecting us, and some from our inability to see God as Sovereign in the affairs of Mankind. He is Good. He is Love. He cares for us. He rains on the just and the unjust. He forgives the sinner upon request and makes them clean. Knowing they will sin again. He is NOT permissive. He must punish sin. He knows the very heart, thought, words, deeds, and intentions of us all. Yet, God still loves us and wishes us good plans above and beyond all that we can comprehend or think. Still yet, we must live in this life, in this world. Are you waiting for something? Do you yearn for more than what you can see, hear, feel taste, touch? Are you enslaved to the Lust of the Eyes, the Lust of the Flesh, and the Pride of Life? Break free from the chains of addiction. Experience the Peace that passes all understanding. You can only do so if you acknowledge Yeshua = Jesus as Lord and Savior. The One who took your punishment on the cruel cross at Golgotha Calvary. He is the perfect sacrificial Passover lamb slain before the foundations of the earth were laid. He was born of a Virgin, Mary and lived a sinless life. He is ALL God and ALL Flesh - the GOD-MAN. The One who sticketh closer than a brother. The Son who proceedeth from the Father, prayed the Father to send another Comforter like Himself, the Holy Spirit of Promise to chasten us, to convict us, to gently pull us with cords of love into the arm of the love of Christ. Agree with God concerning your sins. You can't hide anything from Him. The One True and Living God. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins, to come inhabit the empty secret place in your heart reserved only for Him. Make Him Lord over your life. He will give to living water freely. Grace. God's unmerited favor. You can't earn salvation or deserve it. It is a free gift of God. God's G. Riches R. At A. Christ's C. Expense E. GRACE. Once you agree, receive and make Him Lord over your life, I pray you find a Bible teaching, preaching, New Testament Church to join. Without true Christian Fellowship, your spiritual growth will be stunted. No one can take the gift of salvation away from you. It does not belong to you though you possess it! It is the gift from God. Commit yourselves into the hands of the Almighty! He cares for you!

Longer Testimony
Many tried to lead me to the Lord but I was hardened. In 1989, I moved to Birmingham and tried a couple of jobs, playing in various Southern/Blues/Rock bands, finally settling on retail. I accepted a transfer as Store Manager to a Mall in 1991. I was alone & frustrated. Several Mall workers kept inviting me to a Bible study. Loneliness & the Lord finally drove me to conceding. There I found a group of folks who were in similar straits as I. We studied God’s Word & I began to have a hunger for the things of God. My wife & I met there & agreed to begin a relationship. I agreed to go to church with her to be able to see her. I began to come under conviction of the Holy Spirit. An evangelist came one Sunday & during the invitation, tried to lead me to the Lord but I was not ready yet. I read all of Romans and knew if I died that night I would go to Hell and it would be my fault for not believing on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I asked Him to forgive me of my many sins, come into my heart, save me, & I would do whatever He asked me to do & go wherever He asked me to go. I felt the Lord was calling me into the Gospel ministry. I resisted surrendering to His calling. I went outside and walked a mud trail pleading with God to take away this burden. Eventually I sat down in an old van we towed from our farm house. I remember the goat pellets, mouse stuff & hay. The rain & my pleading, crying & eventual complete and total surrender to the Lord. I felt such peace. I had never known that kind of peace before. I never had the context.
